Terp pearls are small spheres that spin inside your banger, distributing concentrate and heat for better dabs.
How Terp Pearls Work
When you inhale through a spinner carb cap, the airflow causes the pearls to spin rapidly. This:
- Spreads concentrate across the hot surface
- Distributes heat more evenly
- Maximizes vaporization at lower temps
- Preserves terpene flavor
Pearl Materials
Quartz
Most popular choice. Good heat retention, easy to clean, durable.
Ruby/Sapphire
Premium option. Excellent heat retention, beautiful appearance, higher cost.
Ceramic
Good heat retention, affordable. Can be more fragile.
Silicon Carbide (SiC)
High-tech option with excellent heat properties. Premium pricing.
Sizes
- 4mm: Best for smaller bangers
- 6mm: Most common, works in most bangers
- 8mm: For larger bangers, fewer needed
How to Use
- Place 1-2 pearls in your banger before heating
- Heat banger as normal
- Add concentrate and carb cap
- Inhale—pearls should spin
- Remove pearls for cleaning (they'll be hot!)
Tips
- Use a spinner or directional carb cap—standard caps won't create spin
- Start with 1-2 pearls; more isn't always better
- Clean pearls regularly in isopropyl alcohol
