Your First Session: Step by Step
1. Prepare Your Hookah
- Rinse all parts with water
- Fill base with water (1-2 inches above downstem)
- Assemble hookah (should be airtight)
2. Pack the Bowl
- Break up shisha (don't pack dense)
- Sprinkle into bowl loosely
- Fill to just below rim
- Don't press down
3. Cover and Poke
- Stretch foil tight over bowl
- Poke holes in circular pattern
- Holes should be small and numerous
4. Light Coals
- Place coals on burner
- Wait until completely orange (8-12 min)
- No black spots should remain
5. Start Smoking
- Place coals on outer edge of bowl
- Wait 3-5 minutes for bowl to heat
- Draw slowly and steadily
